Let me tell you a little bit about myself and how my business venture began. Starting at my local dance school at the age of 3, I didn’t fall in love with dance straight away. In fact, for weeks, I simply sat and watched everyone else; and, in my first dance show, I just stood on the stage without moving a muscle!

Well, fast-forward a year and I became part of the dance school’s group competition team, which led to me becoming a solo competitor. I danced for the same dance school for over 15 years, achieving many exam results, competition awards and scholarships until I left to attend full-time dance college.

I have now completed University achieving a BA (Hons) Dance Performance, Teaching and Choreography degree. I also achieved my ISTD teachers qualifications in Ballet, Tap and Modern.

At Abigail Barlow Dance Academy we will provide classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Pom, Commercial, Conditioning and Mini Classes for Ages 3 to 18 years. I am looking forward to helping nurture students into taking exams and help build students confidence.

It has always been my dream to open my own dance school and I hope you take the step in joining me along my journey!
